In the museum’s storerooms there are well over a million objects. All of them come from archaeological excavations in Augusta Raurica. On this special tour, you will have a glimpse behind doors which are usually closed and discover how excavated finds are identified, catalogued, restored and kept in storage, thus making future research projects and exhibitions possible and preserving the finds for posterity.
