The Rundfunk.fm live radio festival at the National Museum is a cultural event held over a period of weeks and a popular summer meeting place near Zurich Main Station.

The Rundfunk.fm festival has long been a highlight for many locals in the summer: the radio station, which sets the musical beat of the city, went on air for the first time in 2000. Since then, this insider tip has broadcast live from the inner courtyard of the National Museum for a month or so each year, and attracts several hundred visitors every day.

Set amidst the National Museum, with its castle-style architecture and modern extension, the festival offers not only great music, but also a multitude of bars and food stands. Here, locals, tourists, students, and workers from all spheres of business meet here from 5pm onwards to unwind and enjoy themselves. In the middle of it all is a mirrored tent, in which various DJs play new, exciting, and inspiring music.
