From June 12 to 22, 2025, Lausanne will host the largest sports event in Switzerland: the 77th Swiss Gymnastics Festival (“Fête Fédérale de Gymnastique”).

The Festival will take place in three different areas known as “Quartiers” or “Districts”: Quartier Ville, Quartier Lac and Quartier Fête (Town District, Lake District and Festival District). They will all be easily accessible on foot or using public transport to encourage the discovery of all the activities and celebrations organised. Through 140 competitions spread across the city, the population will be able to discover - for free - gymnastics, with 22 disciplines that promise great shows and emotions. Many events, such as the opening and closing ceremonies, a parade and a grand gymnastics show, will also punctuate the Festival. As for the Quartier Fête on the lakeshore, it will offer celebrations, parties and catering during the whole event. A festival that promises to be outstanding and enliven Lausanne, Olympic Capital!
