Dr Daniel G. Fuchs has 35 years' experience in the hotel and education sectors, and of luxury hotels and hotel groups. He holds teaching posts at various universities in Switzerland. He undertakes international consultancy assignments and marketing mandates. He has accumulated 15 years of experience in Asia from his base in Thailand, where he takes on assignments as a consultant and guest speaker. His career has taken him all over Asia and has included the management of hotel companies.

He has acquired management experience in the top-end luxury hotel segment in Thailand, Switzerland and the USA. He is a lecturer in various subjects at Thailand's five leading public universities, and is a director of two of Switzerland's leading hotel schools; on behalf of the Bern Cantonal Bank, he has managed various hotels in the Bernese Oberland.
