The Abbey of St Gall has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1983, and the historical collections in the Abbey Library and Abbey Archives are UNESCO World Documentary Heritage Sites.

The Abbey of St Gall is a miracle of transmission. Experience 1400 years of cultural history in the attractive exhibitions in the baroque hall of the Abbey Library, in the Vaulted Cellar as well as in the Exhibition Space of the Abbey Archives and discover the unique treasure of manuscripts, documents and prints.
