Discover the Wildhorn 3250m in complete safety with our guided tours, and try your hand at mountaineering!

Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from June 27 to October 19, as well as on other dates on request, climb the Wildhorn, the region's iconic peak. Climb independently to the Cabane des Audannes, where you'll spend the night. Your guide, Gérald Mathys, will join you there for the second day, when things get serious! After an ascent in an almost lunar atmosphere, you'll don your harness and crampons to climb the glacier to its highest point at 3,250m.

You don't need to be an experienced mountaineer to attempt this climb. If you're a good walker, well guided, you won't have any major difficulties. However, it takes a good 5 hours to reach the summit and return to the hut.

This experience costs CHF 265 per person. A minimum of 4 people is required. The price includes half-board (dinner, overnight stay and breakfast) and the mountain guide's fee. Reservations must be made by 5.00 pm on the Wednesday preceding the weekend of the ascent.

Equipment list:

- Meat bag (for the night at the hut)
- A pair of mountain boots that cover the ankle
- A pair of crampons adapted to your mountain boots (depending on conditions), which the guide can lend you if needed.
- A harness
- Poles are recommended
- Sunglasses
- Sun cream
- A drink of at least one liter (can be purchased at the hut)
- Warm clothing (gloves, hat, jacket and fleece)
- Picnic lunch for the Wildhorn ascent
- An ice axe is not necessary!
