Ach, ich fühl’s – Arien from Mozart to Puccini

Theater Casino Zug, Zug

Chelsea Marilyn Zurflüh (Soprano) and CHAARTS

Swiss soprano Chelsea Marilyn Zurflüh, who has just turned 30 and is a shooting star at international opera competitions, has joined forces with the successful CHAARTS Chamber Artists Ensemble to select arias and lieder by Mozart, Vivaldi, Schubert, Gounod and Puccini, which on the one hand mean a great deal to her personally, and which also are highly demanding. In addition to these moving operatic arias, we will have Mozart’s well-known serenade «Eine kleine Nachtmusik» as well as the «Sinfonia Concertante», in a freshly discovered version for string sextet. Zurflüh has an incredibly expressive voice, a dreamlike technique and an enormous stage presence. The young soprano from Biel, with family origins in the Seychelles, has been sweeping the board at competitions in Switzerland, Austria and Germany for a number of years now, including the reputed 78th Concours de Genève 2024, where she won first prize in the singing section, as well as various other special awards, including the audience prize and the orchestra prize. The CHAARTS Chamber Artists are an ensemble founded at the Künstlerhaus Boswil in 2010, made up of members of leading string quartets, soloists, first violins and brass soloists from leading European orchestras.
