Arrival by bus:

From Leukerbad: bus at 09:20 am, arrival in Inden Village at 09:29 am

From Leuk SBB: bus at 09:05 am, arrival in Inden Village at 09:26 am

End of tour: around 2:30 pm in Leuk Town.
Return journey is individual. There are excellent bus connections to both Leukerbad and Leuk SBB.

Remarks
Easy hike, effective walking time approx. 2h15 (ascent 160 m, descent 580 m). Between Inden and Varen, there is a short section where surefootedness and a head for heights are an advantage.
Experience the golden autumn on a guided hike along old trails from Inden via Varen to the medieval town of Leuk. The tour starts at 9:30 am in Inden and follows the Dala-Raspille cultural trail to the charming wine village of Varen. Along the way, you will gain fascinating insights into the region’s nature, landscape, and history.
In Varen, a culinary highlight awaits you: in a local winery, you will taste regional wines accompanied by a traditional Valais platter served as an aperitif. Strengthened, you will continue your walk through the picturesque vineyards to Leuk Town, where you will explore the historic old town and the Bishop’s Tower.
The return journey takes place individually after 2:30 pm by public transport – there are excellent connections both to Leukerbad and to Leuk SBB railway station.
