Zurich Game Industry Gathering

The Swiss Game Hub is organizing its own international gaming conference.

The Gamespace Conference will bring together the international gaming industry in Zurich, Switzerland, for two days from: 8 to 9 October 2026

Held at the Swiss Game Hub, Gamespace seeks to provide a cozy and open space for sharing ideas, networking with industry professionals, and of course shining the spotlight on exceptional Swiss games. In addition to bringing the international scene together, the Gamespace Conference will offer a mix of talks, panels, game pitches and workshops, focusing on the areas of development and business.

Zurich and by extension Switzerland is home to successful game studios, but since the discontinuation of the Ludicious Festival, the GameZ and the Zurich Games Week, the region lacks a central, international platform. With Gamespace Conference, Swiss Game Hub wants to fill this vacuum and push themselves further into the lighthouse position for the Swiss game developer scene.

Swiss Game Hub is establishing a focused conference designed to bring the international games industry directly to Zurich. This is not a fan convention; it is a dedicated infrastructure project for professionalization and market access as well as for the connection of the Swiss and the international game development scene.

It is a two day conference split into the "Business"- and the "Develop"-day that brings people into conversation with a focus on workshops, panels and talks.

Originating in late 2019, the Swiss Game Hub (SGH) evolved to a central event and co-working location for the Zurich indie game development scene. It offers a place to share knowledge, cultural exchange and affordable office space. Swiss Game Hub is hosting over 140 game developers on 2400sqm in their historical ABB factory halls. From the over 35 game studios working at the SGH they host studios like Stray Fawn Studios (The Wandering Village), blobfish (Brotato), Indoor Astronauts (Unrailed 1+2), Timon Herzog (The Farmer Was Replaced), zarkonnen (Airships) and many more.
