The Lucerne Regatta is an annual international rowing regatta on Lake Rotsee in Lucerne.
The Lucerne Regatta takes place between May and July and attracts the world's top rowing athletes. Up to 800 athletes from over 60 nations take part each year. The regatta offers numerous attractive opportunities for spectators. Admission to the banks of the Rotsee is free of charge and there are various catering options available.
Rowing has a long tradition in Lucerne. Rowing regattas have been held here for over 120 years. The Rotsee, world-famous for its excellent and fair rowing conditions, is one of the most popular rowing destinations for many athletes. Lucerne has already hosted 4 world championships and 5 European championships. Today, the annual Lucerne Regatta is part of the World Cup series.
Date
The races usually take place between 9h00 - 18h00. The final races take place on Sunday and last until 15h30.
Price
Admission to the event site is free of charge. Grandstand tickets can also be purchased. Numerous catering options will be available throughout the entire race weekend.
