The Tuesday Jazz concert series brings well-known and yet-to-be-discovered Swiss contemporary jazz talents to the stage.

The trio with Christoph Grab (ts), Marcel Thomi (Hammond) and Elmar Frey (dr) launches a new, original program with ROOT AREA and expands the band with a wonderful saxophone voice: Nicole Johänntgen is new on board. Whether a slow blues piece, New Orleans funk, gospel ballad or Swiss folk song in African guise - the new pieces have deep roots and connect the band with them. This short-circuiting of the now with these roots creates a phenomenal energy, breaks boundaries and provides unique and exhilarating moments.
