Guided tours of the Rotenboden Alpine Garden
Rotenboden, Zermatt
At an altitude of 2,800 meters, right next to the Rotenboden station, lies a botanical gem: the highest alpine garden in Europe. Over 100 alpine plant species have adapted to the extreme climate here. Interested visitors are cordially invited to take a closer look at the alpine garden on July 26 and 27. On both days, there will be an opportunity for professional discussions and guided tours with botanist and excursion leader Adrian Möhl. He will also talk about the background to alpine flora and practical work on site from 12:00 and 14:00 (duration approx. 45 minutes). Plant lovers: inside receive in-depth information about the alpine flora on the Gornergrat.
