The Basel-Landschaft Team Orienteering event is one of the largest and most popular recreational sports events in the region. Every year, around 1,500 orienteering enthusiasts take part.

On Sunday, October 25, 2026, the route will lead from the competition center at the Tannenbrunn sports facilities in Sissach to the course area on the Zunzgerhard. There, course setters Christoph Plattner and Reto Pusterla have once again laid out courses for 34 different categories, allowing participants to spend a morning of athletic competition in the autumnal forests of the Basel-Landschaft region—tailored to their age and skill level—and to enjoy the unique orienteering atmosphere together with colleagues, family, or friends.
