On October 16, join us for a fun-filled day of discovery along the Grand Bisse d’Ayent, a historic canal dug in the 15th century. The day will begin at 8:30 a.m. in the village of St-Romain, where we’ll welcome you with coffee and croissants. We’ll then take a shuttle to Les Samarins, the starting point of our walk.
We’ll then follow the bisse trail for a peaceful, guided walk, punctuated by fascinating stories about life along these canals. An exclusive tour of the underground power plant at Les Samarins will enhance this roughly seven-kilometer walk, blending nature, heritage, and fascinating anecdotes.

Upon arrival at the ranger’s cabin in Pertou sous Anzère, we’ll enjoy an aperitif followed by a traditional raclette in a warm, alpine atmosphere.
