The most ancient rustic mansion-house in the Bernese Jura, dating from the 16th century.
The house of the Banneret Wisard“ is located in the heart of the old village of Grandval. Its pyramid-shaped roofing shelters the house, the barn and the stalls. The rafters of the fan-shaped frame are fabulously preserved by smoke. Various hearths and furnaces were discovered at the time of the archaeological excavations. Ceramics and shoes were also found.
