Randa’s railway station (1,406 m) lies a little outside the centre of the village, and is served by trains of the Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn. Motorists can make use of the adjacent car park.

Randa station stands close to the course of the Mattervispa river. To complete the journey to Zermatt, 9 km away via Täsch, trains must climb an additional 200 vertical metres, making use of cog traction.
