Arriving by train on the Alp Sellamatt, you head west along the imposing Churfirsten mountain range across meadows and through forests to the romantic Alp Sellamatt. During the alpine season, you will meet many cows whose bells you will recognize early.

You will experience the traditional harmony between nature and alpine farming. The landscape is characterized by the striking silhouette and the lovely slopes of the Churfirsten, which you can experience once very close. Once you have arrived at the Thurtalerstofel elevation, the view opens onto Speer, Neuenalpspitz and Lütispitz.
The way back leads you through the refreshing forest over the barley ground to the Iltios at the foot of the Chäserrugg.
