Deutweg ice rink and event arena and its outdoor ice rinks were opened in November 2002. During the winter season, at least one rink always remains open to the public. The indoor ice rink, which holds up to 4,300 people, regularly plays host to sporting events, concerts, shows and warehouse sales. Embedded in Deutweg sports park, the arena is in the city centre of Winterthur.
