School was held in the extension to this building in the center of the village between 1837 and 1902. Up to 80 children attended school in the (single) classroom with the (single) teacher. Today, the former school building is used by the municipality as a work yard. In the 1970s, the residential part of the building was professionally renovated under the guidance of the Heritage Society.
