The MONOLITI exhibition presents the latest work by photographer Roberto Pellegrini, originally from Ascona, who has been living and working as a freelance photographer in Bellinzona for many years. Specialising in art, architecture, interiors, environments and people photography, he presents a new project at Casa Maggetti in Intragna, inspired by the lockdown period caused by the pandemic.
On display is a photographic series dedicated to modern architecture, presented in a provocative and original way. Solid, uniform and immobile, the photographer portrays the buildings with their eyes closed, transforming them into enigmatic simulacra of a new urban imaginary.
