Switzerland’s only accessible gypsum mine, located in Schleitheim, offers visitors a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the fascinating world of gypsum mining in the 18th and 19th centuries. You’ll travel into the tunnels on a miniature railway and learn more about the hard work of the miners who once worked there (language: German). Experience the impressive atmosphere underground!  Tickets must be purchased in advance.
