Iberians
Antikenmuseum Basel und Sammlung Ludwig, Basel
The special exhibition, conceived in cooperation with the Museu d'Arqueologia de Catalunya, is dedicated to the culture and art of the Iberians.
In this fascinating new exhibition, visitors can discover the art and culture of the Iberians, a forgotten civilization that lived in the east of the Iberian Peninsula between the 6th and 1st centuries BC. More than 260 exhibits bear witness to the diversity and beauty of these important peoples of the European Iron Age. Visitors immerse themselves in the history of the Iberians from their beginnings to their demise and experience a journey through time using original archaeological exhibits, maps, graphics, mappings and audiovisual productions.
A cooperation with the renowned Museu d'Arqueologia de Catalunya, Barcelona
The exhibition texts are available in five languages (German, French, English, Spanish and Catalan)
