The Val Vau hut is situated in a quiet and secluded location. Ideal for nature lovers, mountain hikers and bikers who appreciate seclusion and unspoiled nature.

The Val Vau hut (Pra da Vau) is located at around 1779 m above sea level in the side valley of the same name in Val Müstair in Graubünden at the entrance to Val Mora. The hut is a good starting point for hikes, for example to Lai da Rims or into Val Mora, and for bike tours. The hut offers a simple infrastructure with 4 beds and cooking facilities. It is situated in a quiet, secluded location and can be reached on foot, by bike, by car or by post bus. Ideal for nature lovers, mountain hikers and bikers who appreciate seclusion and originality.Furnishings: wood-burning stove, wood stove, gas stove, table incl. corner bench and chairs, crockery and various pans, two cabin beds. The beds have fitted sheets and pillows with covers. Please bring your own sleeping bag.

Dogs allowed on request. We charge a fee of Fr. 5.00 per dog per night and ask you to bring your own dog bed or blankets.
Access to Hütte Vau is via a forest road that is closed to traffic. The tenant receives a driving permit for the access to the hut Vau via "via Mottas - Val Vau”. The permit is only valid for one vehicle and costs CHF 10.00.
