Teens Growing Up Between Cultures - Supporting Third Culture Kids
Bibliothek Zug, Zug
Discover how to better understand and support young people growing up between cultures.
Zug is home to many international and multilingual families - and therefore to many Third Culture Kids (TCKs) who grow up between cultures. In this engaging evening talk, therapist Tine Christensen explores what characterizes TCKs, the unique opportunities and challenges they experience, and how their needs shift as they move from childhood into the teenage years.
Parents will gain practical guidance on how to support their children emotionally and socially as they navigate life across different languages, values, and cultural environments.
The event is designed for parents of teens aged 11-18, but families with younger children will also find it relevant. The evening includes a mix of presentation and open conversation, with space for questions, reflections, and sharing experiences.
In Cooperation with Tine Christensen.
This event is part of the series «Wohlfühlkapitel: stark und gesund durchs Jahr».
